My Story

I have had the pleasure and honor of working in leadership positions in various healthcare technology roles for most of my career. Each role has provided me an opportunity to contribute to building the business in different ways and to increase my impact through strategic planning, product development, operations, management, customer support, marketing, and sales.

My experience and responsibilities have grown over time to include computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), healthcare technology management (HTM), and performance improvement companies with deep domain expertise in clinical equipment maintenance, management, sales and marketing.

After being approached by several clients and partners asking for assistance with different initiatives, projects and customers, I decided to form my own consulting company dedicated to helping HTM and clinical equipment manufacturers, service providers, and suppliers. My unique background enables me to provide a wide range of services to meet my clients' needs, whether you're in need of assistance on a small project or have a major initiative you need guidance and expertise on. My Background

I began my career as a project manager at Maritz Performance Improvement Companywhich gave me a great understanding about how to engage and motivate people to deliver the results needed by the company.


After earning my Master's Degree in Marketing, I went to work for SSM Health system based in St. Louis as the Business Development Manager for the clinical engineering department and sold clinical equipment maintenance services to non-SSM healthcare providers. Following my success in that role, I soon was promoted several times at SSM into operational and management positions, and after seven years, became the first vice president over the health system's healthcare technology management (HTM) division. In this executive role, I reported to the system CIO and was responsible for managing $760M in clinical equipment assets system-wide, a $35M expense budget and 120 HTM staff members across SSM's 22 hospitals in four states. As a member of SSM's IT Executive Council, I played a leading role in SSM’s system-wide technology planning, acquisition, support, and regulatory compliance. 


The accomplishment I am most proud of is transforming SSM's HTM department from independently-managed regions into a centralized, revenue-generating technology center of excellence, earning it national recognition for its Best Practices and performance. During my 13-year tenure as VP, the department achieved employee and customer satisfaction scores higher than the 95th percentile compared to national benchmarks while holding expenses below national benchmark averages.

Due to my transformational leadership at SSM Health, I earned the HTM Leadership Award in 2019 from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).  I remain heavily involved with AAMI and currently serve on the AAMI Board of Directors Executive Committee as the Finance Committee Chair, and was the previous chair of AAMI’s Technology Management Council. I'm also an inaugural member of the AAMI Fellow (AAMIF) program.  

In 2019, I joined Nuvolo - a CMMS/enterprise asset management software provider on the ServiceNow® platform. In my executive roles at Nuvolo, I served as its healthcare industry expert and thought leader. I worked with healthcare clients and the Nuvolo product development, sales, marketing, and customer support departments to help ensure the company's products and support were meeting and exceeding the needs of its healthcare customers.

I am inspired by what is possible by being innovative, collaborating with amazing teams, and working hard while having fun. I also believe in giving back to the healthcare community and not only have the honor of serving on AAMI's Board of Directors, but I'm also a volunteer board member of HealthWorks! Kid's Museum in St. Louis, dedicated to teaching children healthy habits.
